Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s program Rural divorced/widowed eligible women aged 18 to 55 years should submit their application to their nearest animal hospital. The application submission process has started from June 19, 2025. Eligible women should visit their nearest animal hospital along with their original identity card and husband’s death certificate or divorce certificate to get animals and submit their application. A new program has been launched by the Punjab government at a cost of two billion rupees. Under this program, the Punjab government is going to distribute buffaloes to 11,000 poor divorced and widowed women absolutely free of cost.

Eligibility Criteria for the Punjab Livestock Program
To apply for the scheme, women must fulfill all four of the following conditions:
- Only Women Allowed
Must be a divorced or widowed woman, aged 55 or above, living in a rural village of any of the 12 listed districts. - Certified by PSPA
Must possess a valid certificate from Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) confirming your widowed or divorced status. - PMT Score Requirement
Your Poverty Means Test (PMT) score must be 32% or below. - No Prior Livestock Benefit
You must not have received any livestock from any government scheme in the last 5 years.

How to Apply Online for CM Punjab Livestock Program 2025
Method 1: Apply Through the Official Mobile App
The recommended method is through the official “Asset Transfer for Women” mobile app by Punjab Livestock Department.
Steps:
- Open the Play Store on your smartphone
- Search for “Asset Transfer Women – Livestock Punjab”
- Download and install the app
- Create your account by providing your CNIC and personal details
- Fill out the online application form carefully
- Submit your request directly from the app
Method 2: Visit Nearest Livestock Office
If you’re unable to access the mobile app, you can visit the nearest Livestock Office (Shafakhana e Haiwanat) or CM Solar Desk in your tehsil. However, this option might not be available in all villages or union councils, so using the app is much easier.

The second phase of the program started on 20th June 2025, and applications are open right now. Since the number of animals is limited (only 11,000 cows and buffaloes), apply as soon as possible.
