BISP 8171 3rd Phase Payment Details
After the successful completion of Phase 1 (April 10) and Phase 2 (April 28), Phase 3 is now beginning on May 13, 2025. This phase will cover districts that were not included in the first two phases. The aim is to make sure all eligible people receive their payments before June 2025.
The payment amount has been increased to Rs. 13,500, which is a big relief for poor families, especially due to high inflation and rising cost of living. Earlier, the payment was Rs. 10,500, but now the government has taken this step to give more support.

BISP 8171 New Payment 3rd Phase Distribution Process
Payments will be given through:
- BISP Campsites (temporary centers set up for easy collection)
- Partner Banks like HBL and Bank Alfalah
- Beneficiaries will receive an SMS from 8171 when their payment is ready. Payments will be given in parts (staggered schedule) to avoid long lines and crowding.
How to Check BISP Payment Status
There are 3 simple ways to check your payment:
- By SMS:
Send your 13-digit CNIC number to 8171 from your registered mobile. You will get a free reply. - Online (If Working):
Go to the 8171 web portal at 8171.bisp.gov.pk.
Enter your CNIC and CAPTCHA code, then click submit. - Visit Campsite or BISP Office:
If SMS and website do not work, you can visit your nearest BISP center.
Bring your original CNIC for verification.

Eligibility Criteria for the BISP 3rd Phase
- Poverty score less than 32 (as per NSER survey)
- Monthly income under Rs. 25,000
- Must have a valid CNIC
- Women, widows, and disabled people are given priority
- No one from your household should be a government employee or tax filer
BISP Key Updates You Should Know
- Originally, payments were being given in 2 phases, but due to increasing load, BISP has now added a 3rd phase.
- A digital wallet system is being tested but is not active for this phase.
- If someone did not receive payment in earlier phases, they will get it with the 3rd phase.
