Free Livestock Program Phase 2 Target Areas
This program targets 12 districts of South Punjab:
- Multan
- Khanewal
- Lodhran
- Vehari
- Bahawalpur
- Bahawalnagar
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Dera Ghazi Khan
- Layyah
- Muzaffargarh
- Rajanpur
- Kot Addu
A total of 11,000 women will be selected in this phase. These women will be provided with healthy, high-yield animals suitable for their local environment. Goats will be prioritized in dry areas like Rajanpur and Layyah.
Budget and Animal Details
The Punjab government has allocated PKR 2.5 billion for Phase 2. This budget will cover:
- Buying livestock

Eligibility Criteria for the Free Livestock Program Phase 2
To ensure transparency and fairness, only deserving women will benefit. The criteria are:
- Must be a widow or legally divorced
- Age must be below 55 years
- Must hold a Punjab domicile
- Must live in one of the 12 listed districts
- Poverty score (PMT) should be below 32
- Should not already own livestock or have sold past livestock given by the government
- Must have a valid CNIC
- Must be physically able to care for the animal.

How to Apply Free Livestock Program Phase 2?
Online Method:
- Go to livestock.punjab.gov.pk or download the “Asset Transfer to Rural Women” app.
- Register using your CNIC and mobile number.
- Fill out the form with your personal and income details.
- Upload scanned documents like CNIC and domicile.
- Submit and wait for SMS confirmation.
Offline Method:
- Visit the nearest veterinary hospital or livestock department office.
- Carry your CNIC, proof of residence, and poverty documents (like BISP proof).
- Officials will help you fill the form and enter data in the 9211 system.
Free Livestock Program Phase 2 Selection and Distribution Process
All applications are verified through NADRA, PSER, and field inspections. After this, a computerized lottery system ensures fair selection.
